A Dream Diary

Candy

Last night I know I dreamed, because when I got up to go to the bathroom (which I have to do way too much as I get older) I remember saying to myself that I really wanted to remember that dream. And so I stuck a word in my head that was supposed to remind me of my dream.

That word was Candy.

I remember the word, but do I remember my dream? Heck no. LOL. Oh well!

Help to Sleep

I don’t usually have a hard time falling asleep, fortunately. I was taking Trazadone for a while to help me sleep, because when I started taking Sertraline it was harder for me to sleep. However, it made me be half asleep for about six months so I stopped taking it.

Now I sleep fine, but the other night I took a melatonin. A good night sleep keeps us healthy and keeps our life insurance quotes down. And I do love my sleep. Nine hours or so a night is what I like best!

Anyway the melatonin seemed like it made it so I didn’t remember my dreams as well. I thought it was rather odd. As I do like remembering my dreams! So I might experiment with it for a while, and see if I can still dream when I take it.

Getting a Good Night Sleep

Tonight, I want to get a good night sleep. Mainly because I am doing agility with my dogs this weekend. I’m considering getting a softer mattress. The one I have is very firm… though not as bad as some of the ones I have slept on in hotels, mainly a recent trip to California.

So I’m considering getting a new mattress. Something soft that will support my back and my neck. Something I don’t have to travel to find… like the nice soft mattresses in hotels! Instead of the firm ones. And risking loosing luggage… I hate loosing luggage when I travel! Maybe Zero Halliburton would help!

Anyway… what kind of mattress do you have, soft or firm?

Fading Fast…

Okay, last night’s dream is just about gone. Dangit… it was a man, again, though now I don’t remember who, where, or why. Maybe some weight loss pills would jog my memory… but I’m not so sure about that.

I remember waking up in the middle of the night and going to the bathroom, and remembering my dream, and trying to convince my brain to keep the memory of the dream until I woke up. But now, it seems to be gone. Darnit. I like remembering my dreams and no matter how much I sit here and try.. it’s not coming back.

Oh well, there’s always tonight!

Stargate Dreams

Gads! I was so busy yesterday that I hardly had time to do much. I got up… was going to blog about my dream, then had to get dog treats ready, dogs ready, gear ready… etc, and I spent most of the day doing obedience training. It was a lot of fun though and I don’t regret it at all.

Anyway I did have a dream about Rodney on Stargate… and it was a good dream and now, of course, most of it is gone. Bah. That’s a bummer because I really wanted to remember it. I am strange in that when I try to remember old dreams, I tend to remember the ones I blogged about better, so when I try to remember the dream about Rodney I tend to put in other dream bits instead.

Oh well.. such is life. The dog things were fun, today I get to go play flyball with three of the dogs… and try to remember how to lose weight, and not eat so much when I’m out of the house!

A Wall of Dogs

This is not, actually, a dream… rather it’s a sleeping position. I seemed to have had a fairly dreamless night last night. I think I did dream something, but when I woke up I didn’t remember it and so I won’t fret about my lack of remembering.

I did wake up sleeping on the edge of the bed… in fact, it was about one foot worth of bed. Okay maybe two, but not more than that. When it’s cold at night (and I like to sleep with it cool) my dogs Lucy and Levi love to press up against me and sleep there all night.

I love the contact and so I don’t move them. However, my legs tended to be asleep when I woke up this morning, which was not fun. And yes, I do sleep quite comfortably in two feet of bed space with the dogs taking up the rest of the Queen sized bed.

Maybe doing some budgeting and planning would help the dogs and I optimize bed space.. but somehow I don’t think so. The dogs like to take what they can, and usually they get away with it. :)
